This female cardinal enjoys the sunflower seeds at my backyard bird feeder. I was out taking photos and the feeder was in full sun when I snapped this photo.

The lighting is superb!

Thank you. There’s no substitute for being in the right place at the right time. I was lucky the Cardinal came when she did. A few minutes later the same spot was in the shadow of a nearby tree.
