My family and I live just outside of Richmond, Virginia, USA in a typical, middle-class, suburban neighborhood. As often as possible I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors (cycling, hiking, backpacking, running), and of course photography.
Early in 2012 I purchased a new camera and decided to take up photography as a hobby again after a nearly twelve year hiatus. Shortly thereafter this blog began as a way to push myself creatively.

Beautiful pictures. I especially liked the birds. Isn’t it amazing what nature creates, such wonderful colors.
