I had some other ideas for this week’s photo challenge but I was walking through the woods and the reflection of the trees in this stream caught my attention. Perhaps too literal a treatment of this week’s theme but I liked the color and the stillness of the water at this spot.
I came across several of these signs when biking a trail in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. I suppose one must know his place when out in the woods. I wonder, if bears could read would they be instructed to yield to anybody?
The high dive at Hungry Mother State Park in Marion, VA offers swimmers a thrill as they escape the heat.
