Back Alley, Richmond, VA
The other side of the building on the right is a lovely little downtown restaurant. It’s funny how quickly the scene changes when you walk half a block, around to this end of the building. Despite the litter and trash, I like the lines, the flow and the contrast of this image.

Evening At Grand Prismatic Spring
The sun hung low in the sky as I made my way toward the Grand Prismatic Spring, in Yellowstone National Park. I liked the strong contrast of the sun reflecting off the water and the silhouettes of the mountains and other park visitors.
Melt Off
As I hiked past this puddle of melting snow I stopped to look at the reflections in it. Snow was falling off the trees in clumps and caused ripples in the puddle.
Chihuly Boats
These boats are filled with Chihuly glass work and displayed on a mirrored surface. The effect was a dazzling display of color reflected as if the boats were floating in still water.
Goose Reflected on the River
The slow moving, low, autumn waters of the James River provided a wonderful reflection of a Canada Goose and the nearby river rocks.
Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections
There’s a railroad bridge that runs along part of the canal walk in Richmond, VA. Seeing the bridge reflected in the James River Canal, I thought it deserved some photographic attention.
Fall Morning in Deep Run Park
